Ben’s first time on skis was when his mom went skiing while pregnant. Naturally, it was in his blood to spend life in the mountains where the lines between work and play are blurred.

Exploring the BC South Coast mountains over the last 15+ years, he has built a strong foundation in the avalanche industry as a forecaster including ski patrol, search and rescue, and remote industrial locations. He has now relocated to Golden, BC with many more mountain ranges in striking distance.

When not on skis he is an adventure racer. These competitions take him to remote locations around the globe on 500km+ nonstop multi-sport races. You will never know your limit until you find the breaking point and push past it.

Whether working or recreating, exploring the wilderness is a core part of his identity.
